Information About Indian Space Research Organization

Indian Space Research Organization formed in 1969. After formation, it replaced the erstwhile INCOSPAR. Vikram Sarabhai was the key figure in developing the Indian Space Research Organisation. ISRO’s mission is to provide space-based services to the nation and also to develop technologies to achieve this independently. ISRO worked hard over the years and became one of the six largest space agencies in the world.

It oversees the largest fleet of communication satellites (INSAT) and remote sensing (IRS) satellites to meet the growing demand for fast and reliable communication and Earth observation, respectively.
