Information About Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission

The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission commonly referred to as CGPSC is a state government office in the state of Chhattisgarh, responsible for conducting civil service assessment and competitive examinations leading to the selection of eligible contenders for various general administrative and departmental posts.

The commission came into being on 3 May 2001 under the provisions of Act 315 of Part XIV of the Constitution of India, when some areas of Madhya Pradesh were bifurcated into a state on 1 November 2000 to form its own special state of Chhattisgarh.
